Le sedicesime Assise dell’ECER (European Congress of Ethnic Religions) si terranno a Roma dal 18 al 22 aprile 2018. Lo ha deciso il Board dell’Ecer che ha deliberato che tutta l’organizzazione venisse delegata al M.T.R. e al suo presidente Daniele Liotta.
La coincidenza dell’evento con il 2771° Anniversario della Fondazione di Roma (MMDCCLXXI aUc) è stata voluta dal M.T.R e condivisa da tutto il Board.
Per partecipare all’evento è necessario registrarsi direttamente sul portale www.ecer-org.eu, dove è presente il programma ed il modulo da scaricare e compilare (http://ecer-org.eu/16th-european-congress-of-ethnic-religions-the-heathenism-rituals-and-their-sources/). Sono tenuti a iscriversi sul portale anche i partecipanti italiani.
Congresso
La delegazione ospitante del Movimento Tradizionale Romano sarà composta da Daniele Liotta, Guglielmo Giovannelli Marconi, Georgios Michaloudis, Italo Linzalone, Paolo Casolari, Pietro Rosetti, Stefano Guidi, Ermes Paparoni, Marco Felli e Mario Basile. Tra i gruppi italiani sarà presente anche la Societas Hesperiana pro Culto Deorum.
L’arrivo a Roma dei congressisti, singoli o gruppi etnici, è previsto il 18 aprile.
Le Assise prenderanno il via il 19 aprile alle ore 9.00, con l’iscrizione dei partecipanti a cura del Movmento Tradizionale Romano. A seguire l’inaugurazione ufficiale del 16° Congresso.
I giorni 19 e 20 aprile sono previste le presentazioni dei Gruppi etnici e le relazioni sul tema “I rituali pagani e le loro fonti”. I lavori si terranno in lingua inglese (sarà presente un servizio d’interpretariato per la traduzione in simultanea dall’inglese all’italiano e viceversa) dalle 10.00 alle 18.00 in entrambe le giornate. Sono in calendario anche una conferenza stampa iniziale e gli interventi straordinari dell’archeologa del Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia, Sandra Mazza, che tratterà del “Il Rito Romano di Fondazione” e del filosofo Giandomenico Casalino che interverrà su “Roma e la forza magica del Rito”.
Sede dei lavori sarà, il 19 e 20 aprile, il cinquecentesco palazzo Ferrajoli a piazza Colonna (http://www.palazzoferrajoli.it) nel cuore di Roma, di fronte alla Colonna Aureliana e al palazzo del Governo italiano.
Il giorno 21 aprile sarà invece interamente dedicato alla visita ai Fori e al Colosseo e alla partecipazione alle celebrazioni della Fondazione di Roma.
La mattina del 22 aprile si terrà l’assemblea di chiusura congressuale presso la sede del M.T.R. di via Bezzecca 1/d in Roma.

Appuntamenti culturali
A corollario del Congresso Ecer sono previsti i seguenti appuntamenti culturali:
- Forum Augusto di notte, il 19 aprile alle 21.00 (www.viaggioneifori.it). Costo del biglietto d’ingresso a persona (prenotazione inclusa): 16 Euro
- Visita al Palatino / Fori Imperiali / Colosseo il 21 aprile – per il compleanno di Roma – tutto il giorno (www.coopculture.it). Costo del biglietto d’ingresso a persona (prenotazione inclusa): 14 Euro. La visita si svolgerà sotto la guida dell’archeologa Marina Simeone. Questo appuntamento è fortemente consigliato perché impegnerà i congressisti per l’intera giornata del 21 aprile.
Chi desidera partecipare a una delle due visite, deve confermare la partecipazione al più presto a info@saturniatellus.com al fine di organizzare il gruppo, prenotare l’orario di ingresso, acquistare i biglietti. Il MTR anticiperà ai partecipanti il costo, che sarà da questi rimborsato insieme alla quota di iscrizione al Congresso il 19 aprile.
E’ prevista anche la visita al Pantheon (il 20 aprile) e al parco archeologico dell’Appia Antica (solo per coloro che desiderano soggiornare a Roma la notte del 22). Entrambi gli appuntamenti sono gratuiti.
Quota
Il Presidente di ECER Andras Corban ha delegato il MTR a provvedere alle iscrizioni ( 50,00 euro a testa, come a Praga), da pagare direttamente a Roma il primo giorno del Congresso. La quota comprende: segreteria, ufficio stampa, kit congressuale, noleggio di sale conferenze, interpreti, fotografo, strutture tecniche e quant’altro necessario per l’evento. La quota non comprende: appuntamenti culturali, spese di trasferimento, hotel, pranzi e cene.
Alloggio
Per quanto riguarda la sistemazione in hotel – check-in 18 aprile / check-out 21 aprile (o 22) – tutti devono provvedere presonalmente, in base alle proprie esigenze e/o preferenze. Suggeriamo di prenotare un hotel nel centro di Roma, tenendo presente la posizione del Congresso e delle visite culturali previste: tutti gli incontri si terranno nel centro della città; ciò al fine di evitare lunghi trasferimenti.
Per agevolare i congressisti ci siano anche convenzionati con lo Stargate Hotel (http://www.stargatehotels.com) di Via Palestro 88, vicino alla Stazione Centrale (Termini) e a 20 minuti in autobus dal Congresso e dagli appuntamenti culturali. Qui il prezzo concordato è di 35 Euro a persona al giorno in camera doppia, tripla o quadrupla (minimo 2 – max 4 letti, senza letti a castello), colazione inclusa. Trasferimenti entro Roma
I trasferimenti entro la citta di Roma, da e per il Congresso, da e per gli hotel, sono a carico di ognuno, Forniremo a tutti, la mattina dell’iscrizione, una mappa della città. I congressisti sono tenuti a rispettare rigorosamente gli orari degli eventi e del Congresso, tenendo presente che Roma è il comune più esteso d’Europa. Pertanto, se è stato scelto un alloggio in periferia, i congressisti sono tenuti a organizzarsi per tempo e a considerare che per gli spostamenti interni a Roma potrebbero occorrere anche due ore, a seconda dei luoghi e dei mezzi di trasporto pubblici presenti.
Pranzi e cene
Al Congresso forniremo un servizio di catering a pagamento. Per le cene, comunicheremo la location per le serate conviviali opzionali comuni. Il costo di pranzi e cene è direttamente a carico di ogni congressista.

we are pleased to inform that ECER (European Congress of Ethnic Religion) and MTR – Movimento Tradizionale Romano have clarified the last organizational points, so that we officially open the registration for the 16th European Congress of Ethnic Religions, which will be held in Rome from 18th to 22nd April 2018.
ECER site www.ecer-org.eu reports organization and the official program. So we are happy to confirm that we will celebrate at the same time the ECER Congress and the 2771 anniversary years since the foundation of Rome (MMDCCLXXI aUc), also known as birthday of Rome.
Registration
You can find the registration form on: www.ecer-org.eu. Registrations are OPEN and you are kindly invited to fill it out as soon as possible (http://ecer-org.eu/16th-european-congress-of-ethnic-religions-the-heathenism-rituals-and-their-sources/).
Fees
The President of ECER Andas Corban delegates MTR to recollect the Congress registration fees. Therefore, the registration fee, 50,00 euros (as in Prague), will be paid in Rome directly to MTR, on the first day of the Congress.
The fee includes the following: secretariat, press office, congress kit, rental of conference rooms, interpreters, photographer, technical installations and anything else necessary for the event.
The fee does not include: cultural appointments tickets, transfer expenses, hotels, lunch and dinners.
Congress
18th April evening: welcome evening. We recommend planning the arrival to Rome on the evening of 18th April, because the Congress starts the works on the morning of 19th April, at 9.00.
The Congress will be held on 19th and 20th April in the splendid location of the sixteenth century Palazzo Ferraioli in Piazza Colonna (http://www.palazzoferrajoli.it) in the heart of Rome, in front of the Aureliana Column and the Italian Government Palace. The final internal meeting, on the morning of 22nd April, will be held in Via Bezzecca, at our headquarters, in the center of Rome.
The first day of the Congress is dedicated to the presentations of the Groups, the second to the reports on “The Heathemism Rituals and their Sources“. As soon as we have a congruous number of confirmations, we will send you an email with the times and the lineup of reports.
Cultural appointments
The following two cultural appointments need to be booked a month in advance
- Augusto Forum by night, on 19thApril at 21.00 (www.viaggioneifori.it). Cost of the entrance ticket per person, if booked in advance (reservation included): 16 Euro
- Visit to Palatine Hill/Imperial Forums/Colosseum on 21stApril – on the birthday of Rome – all the day long (www.coopculture.it). Cost of the entrance ticket per person, if booked in advance (reservation included): 14 Euro. This event is strongly recommended because it will engage the participants all the day long.
If you wish to attend any of the two visits, confirm your participation as soon as possible to info@saturniatellus.com, in order to organize the group, to book the entrance time, to buy the tickets. Please note that MTR is anticipating the cost, which will be recollected together with the Congress Registration fee on the 19th April.
The visit to the Pantheon (20th April) and to the Archaeological park of Appia Antica street (only for those that wish to stay in Rome on the night of the 22nd) are free.
Accommodation
Concerning the hotel accommodation – check-in 18th April / check-out 21st April (or 22nd) – everybody must provide by himself according to his needs or preferences. We suggest booking a hotel in the center of Rome, keeping in mind the location of the Congress and the planned cultural visits, all located in the city center, in order to prevent lengthy transfers.
Among the many possibilities and to stay all together, we propose the Stargate Hotel Roma (http://www.stargatehotels.com) that is located in via Palestro 88, close to the Main Railway Station (Termini) and at 20 minutes by bus from the Congress and the cultural appointments. Some of us will be available to go with you from this (and only from this) particular hotel to the program destination. Price: 35 Euro per person in multiple rooms (min 2 – max 4 beds, no bunk beds), breakfast included; tourist tax not included: 4 Euro a day. (Extra services: Lunch Box, 8,50 Euro; Breakfast reinforced with meats and cheeses, 3 Euro; Lunch or Dinner, 10.00 Euro, Wine, 3,5 Euro, Drink, 2,5 Euro). All the reservations for the rooms and for the restaurant (19th, 20th and 21st dinners) need to be sent only to this email address (that the hotel has created on purpose for our event): ecer2018roma@gmail.com, referent Mr Rafael. With the restaurant reservations must be specified any food intolerances (celiac), and the number of vegetarian and vegan people.
Transfer
We will give all the logistical information and a map, but then internal transfers to Rome, to and from the Congress, to and from cultural visits, are to taken care by everyone. The times of the events must be met scrupulously, so you are invited to organize in advance. Attention, Rome is one of the largest cities in Europe and for transfers from the suburbs to the center it could take up to two hours.
Lunch and Dinner
As written, at the Stargate Hotel it will be possible to buy a packed lunch, while at the Congress we provide a catering service. For dinners, we will communicate on the first day the location for the common optional convivial evenings. The cost of lunches and dinners need to be paid by each participant.
